Ground Transportation

There are three transportation options from the New Orleans Airport to the Central Business District.

1. Cab. A taxi ride from Louis Armstrong Airport to the Central Business District costs $33.00. See here and click on ground transportation.

2. Airport Shuttle. The Airport Shuttle costs $20 one-way and $38 round trip. See the link on the right under New Orleans Info.

3. Bus. The Jefferson Transit E-2 bus travels from the Airport to Tulane and Loyola Streets in the Central Business District for $2.00. From there it is a 6-10 block walk to hotels. Definitely the way to go for backpackers and hostelers.
