My New Job

As many of you know, I retired at the end of February. I didn't manage to get one of those GS-15 positions everyone is talking about. So I decided to lease a cab. The income is not the same, but it helps to make ends meet between my $1800 San Diego studio apartment rent and my $4100 take home retirement pay. I'm meeting the same folks I would have met in my hospital practice, but I only have to spend 10 minutes with them, and no note. That's five minutes longer than Peter True, but I have learned to say yes in the cab, not no, which is about all you can say in five minutes.
