Google Chrome

I've started using Chrome, the new browser from Google. I had to do something. IE6 got so unstable in the last week, crashing at least once an hour. I don't know what happened, the combination of the latest Windows update combined with Symantec security software piled on Java  scripts running, take your pick. So the decision came down to getting the latest Microsoft browser with a lengthy download or take a chance on Chrome. Chrome advertised itself as simpler, more stable and faster. Sounded good to me. Plus Chrome said that it wouldn't take all day to download and install.

I'm having a good time getting used to Chrome. It has some quirks, but how many Microsoft quirks did you get used to over the years just because you had to? Chrome is stable and honestly loads pages faster than Microsoft. I'd say give it a try. Microsoft IE still remains; it's not like Chrome deletes the bad browser. You can always go back to it. The Chrome download is quick and easy, and you just might decide to use it more than the unstable Microsoft product.
