Voting for the Sears Award

The vote for the award will be conducted by email beginning Monday, 14 May. The rules for the vote will be published over the weekend, so please check back.

If the planning and execution of the Braceland looks good to you so far, I can only say that you have not seen the mayhem behind the scenes. All of the unexpected difficulties I have encountered may be summed up as the result of everyone being stretched and overworked. It was suggested to me that we might want to skip the Sears Award this year to make things easier. I rejected that course of action.

The Sears Award will take place as always, but it will only take place with everyone’s participation. This is the only award we give as a community, and every voice in the community should be heard. Help me, please, turn out the vote.
